on any specific topic. We suggest these few, simply to GET YOU STARTED. Future issues of this newsletter may revisit related noteworthy sites.

QUICK TIPS

1. Carefully Defrag
Make sure you don't use defragmentation programs that are not aware of long filenames. You might destroy your long filename space, or even corrupt the drive's data, especially on hard drives that are 1 to 2 GB in size. The safest program to use is the Windows Defrag (Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Defrag).

2. Keep Looking
Want to quickly go to a specific area of a webpage without getting carpal tunnel from scrolling and scrolling, looking for that specific item, subject or word? Well, you can! While viewing a webpage, click Edit then Find In Page. In the space provided type what it is you are looking for. Click Find Now and Netscape will highlight the word(s) found or will inform you that the search string was not found. If it is found you can then use the command, Find Again. The next occurrence of the same word(s) will be displayed if found. You can search the document up or down the page. Ctrl + F will also access this feature. Ctrl + G will access the Find Again command.

3. How'd They Do That?
Ever ask yourself while viewing a webpage, "How'd they do that?" If you're using Netscape, take a look at the HTML code for that page by clicking View then Page Source. This will show you all the HTML used to produce what you see on the screen. This is very useful if you are designing your own webpage and want to borrow a line of code. CTRL + U will accomplish the same thing.

FEATURE:

No Internet holiday season would be complete without the traditional Christmas poem North Americans have come to associate with this festive time of year. It was originally written by Clement Clarke Moore on Christmas Eve in 1822. However, we've take a few liberties this year and offer you our own rendition of the long-time classic. We hope you enjoy it. Happy Holidays!

''Twas the Morning of Christmas

'Twas eight o'clock Christmas morning
As we sat 'round the tree,
"Did Santa Clause bring it?"
We all waited to see.

A killer computer
With blazing light-speed,
For surfing and playing
It's just what we need!

It has to... it must be!
It's such a big box,
With Internet access
From MCM Systems that rocks!

It is! We got it!
A machine that sure kicks.
Now we can trash
That old four, eighty-six.

Word Perfect for Mommy,
Cool games for my Sis,
A blazing fast modem,
Oh joy, Oh what bliss!

In no time at all
We were surfing the Net.
What to do? Where to go?
'Round the ears, we were wet.

There must be a way
To work smarter and better.
And then we remembered
Your handy newsletter.

A great tip on searching
Will help us no doubt.
A cool site about Christmas
We must check it out.

We can play, we can learn
With some great Web resources.
They surely will help me
Get better grades in my courses.

Our Mom will sure love it
She can email her sister.
She lives far away
And really does miss her.

And Dad is excited
But he sure is no Wiz,
But with easy to use software
He'll build a site for his biz.

We were still in our jammies
As we sat 'round the screen.
"Oh my!", yelled out Mom
"It's a quarter to three!"

"Quick...hide the computer.
Your Grand-dad's in site,
He's a Net-surfing junkie
And he'll hog it all night!"

As we ate Christmas dinner
I think we were right.
It was wise that we hid it
And it stayed out of site.

As Grand-Dad ate dinner
He scanned the whole house,
Moving the fork on his plate
Like a three-button mouse.

It just goes to show you
And this is not an apology,
That it's never too late
To adopt new technology.

Patience and Practice
Are all that's required.
Find some cool sites
And you'll soon be inspired.

In know time at all
This truth you should know,
You'll be working and surfing
Like a tech-savvy pro.

Well, I've got to go now
Our Grand-Dad's gone home,
And it's my turn to play
To search and to roam.

Happy Holidays!

Found Money was featured on Oprah, where she helped audience members find money they didn't know they had.

The site boasts that BILLIONS of dollars in lost or unclaimed assets are just sitting in limbo waiting for their rightful owners to show up and collect. Millions have been claimed already! The money sits in old bank accounts, stocks, bonds, dividends, returns from taxes, insurance, utility deposits, mortgages and other financial assets, that you may have forgotten about or that may have been left behind by long lost relatives....and it's been collecting interest for years.

Simply enter your first, last or business name on the on-line form and wait for the results, while you sit on pins and needles. A free automated phone search is also available, that checks files in Canada and the U.S. to see if your phone number or name resides in a registry of unclaimed assets. Who needs Ed McMahon!
