As superintendent, I would like to welcome you to the Holliday C-2
School district and encourage you to explore our web site to learn more about
our school! I am extremely proud of this district which is found in the
center of
Holliday is located on Route A just off of Highway 24, approximately 8
miles west of
Holliday C-2 School takes pride in its heritage and its
accomplishments in the community:
Our school has about 65 students in grades K-I, 30 students in High School, and 10 students in Preschool.
The elementary students maintain a 95% or better attendance rate.
The small size of the district allows much individual student attention.
The Holliday C-2 School has received the Distinction in Performance Award for 8 of 10 years.
Our school employees 10 professional staff and 10 support staffs who demonstrate a caring attitude and ongoing interest for students both in out of the classroom.
In addition to maintaining a 1:10 teacher/student ratio, the professional staff averages 15 years of classroom experience, 31% of the teaching staff possess a Masters of Arts degree or higher.
The solid foundation of academic programs to enhance each individual childs abilities and the state of the art technological equipment available to heighten student learning, with computers and projectors in every classroom, as well as, a large computer lab for student use.
Accredited status based on the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP).
Strong community support for the involvement in the school system, with many parents and community members serving on district committees, attending school activities, and consistently offering encouragement to students for continued success. We maintain an open-door policy in this district and invite parents and patrons to visit the school and witness first-hand the positive learning atmosphere existing within the walls of the Holliday C-2 School.
