New Computers & Modems
If you have a modem that frequently disconnects, you may be elgible for a free modem swap. Call the office for information.
Many newer computer systems are shipping with software based modems. These modems differ from a more traditional modem in that they use the electronics and CPU already in your computer to perform many functions. This has 3 main effects:
1) The modem costs significantly less to manufacture.
2) Your computer runs a bit slower when accessing the Internet.
3) If you have noisy phone line the connection may not be as solid (good) as with a more traditional fax/modem.
Always updating and installing the most current software drivers generally gives you a better connection but will not solve all problems. Call us if you suspect that your new computer is having trouble staying connected to us. We recommend spending a few extra dollars at the time of purchase to buy a high quality fax/modem that will handle our rural phone lines better.
We do have replacement modems available for tradeout.

The advantage to this is not having to setup up a seperate program. This also allows you to check any additional E-Mail accounts you may have without having to setup an E-Mail client. Instructions on how to View your time on-line or check your billing statement
To begin you will need to find your registration
number. Just fill in the first form and click next. You will want to write down
your registration number because that is your unique identification number with us. Then click the back
button to get to this page. Just enter the registration number and the same password you used to get it into the
first form. Remember, once you have your registration number you can skip filling
out the first form.
